Respiratory Pathogen Panel (RPP)
RPP is a qualitative test for the simultaneous detection and identification of multiple respiratory viral and bacterial nucleic acid (RNA and DNA) extracted from nasopharyngeal swabs (NPS) collected from individuals with clinical signs and symptoms of a respiratory infection. The organism types and subtypes detection by this assay include: Influenza A, Influenza H1, Influenza A H3, Influenza B, Respiratory Syncytial Virus A, Respiratory Syncytial Virus B, Coronavirus 229E, Coronavirus OC43, Coronavirus NL63, Coronavirus HKU1, Human Metapneumovirus, Rhinovirus/Enterovirus, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza virus 1, Parainfluenza virus 2, Parainfluenza virus 3, Parainfluenza virus 4, Human Bocavirus, Chlamydophila pneumoniae and Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
Gastrointestinal Pathogen Panel (GPP)
GPP is a qualitative test for the simultaneous detection and identification of multiple gastrointestinal viral, parasitic and bacterial nucleic acid (RNA and DNA) extracted from Copan FecalSwab transport media obtained from individuals suspected of gastrointestinal tract infections: The organism types and subtypes detection by this assay include: Adenovirus 40/41, Norovirus GI/GII, Rotavirus A, Campylobacter (C. jejuni, C.coli and C.lari only), Clostridium difficile (C.difficile) toxin A/B, Salmonella, Vibro cholera (V. cholera) toxin gene (ctx), Entertoxigenic E.coli (ETEC) It/st, Shiga-like toxin-producing E.coli (STEC) stx1/stx2, E.coli O157, Shigella (S.boydii, S.sonnei, S.flexneri and S.dysenteriae), Cryptosporidium (C.parvum and C.hominis only), Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia lamblia.
